So my boy Clay Taylor recently started blogging and while I must say that I don't agree with his rant about officials (because I am one dude and it is harder than it looks) I must certainly tell everyone that they should read it.....there is some really good stuff on there....if you are lookin for it then it is in my link list so give it a looksie

I used to be one too, but then I got my current gig. I actually really enjoyed it. I felt like most of the refs I had call my games in HS were a bunch of fools, so I wanted to try and make a difference (or at least that is what I had hoped to do anyways). The dudes in the TASO chapter I was in were mostly a bunch of pricks though so that certainly didn't help. My mentor was a D-1 college ref for Big 12 women's and southland women's games and he was one of the few guys I liked. Anyways, it is most definitely tough...very difficult job with very little or no respect at all, but if the job is done right you won't really be noticed. That's just my opinion.
Dude, thank you for the love! It will be returned ten fold, I promise! Peace.
p.s. sorry I deleted the first comment. it had tons of things spelled wrong.
